Red Bull to hold music event across ten venues in Cape Town
In Cape Town, South Africa, on September 26, 2026, Red Bull will hold the Red Bull Unlocked Cape Town event at the V&A Waterfront cruise terminal. The event will bring together ten bars, clubs and creative spaces, with one ticket providing access to all locations. As The Rio Times reports, the program includes more than 70 artists and DJs.
Location and format
The event will take place at Makers Landing, located in the Cape Town Cruise Terminal in the working area of the V&A Waterfront harbor. It normally houses a food market and a space for developing small food businesses.
Venues returning after the previous edition include Broke, Fools Gold Social Bar, Souk, Destiny and Drama. New locations are expected to be Texas, HALO, Beluga, Club Paradise, The Athletics Club and Social.
Artists and start time
The lineup is dominated by South African performers. A-Reece, Dee Koala and Sliqe are listed in the hip-hop program. Oscar Mbo, Jullian Gomes, Babalwa M and Dwson will perform in house and afro-house genres. The program also includes DJ PH from 5FM radio station, Teddy Tumi, Tristan Urwin, DJ Phil and Enrico Celento.

The music program covers amapiano, afro-house, hip-hop, deep house, afrotech and R&B. The event page lists a 14:00 start. As of mid-September, the organizers had not published set times, the event’s end time or ticket prices for 2026.
Previous editions of Red Bull Unlocked in 2024 and 2025 were held at the same cruise terminal under a ten-venue format. Ticket terms for past events stated an ending time of 02:00, but this time has not yet been confirmed for the 2026 event.
How to get there
Entry to the cruise terminal is from Dock Road toward the Silo District. At previous events, organizers provided parking on and off site, as well as a street closure with police support. Parking prices for 2026 have not been published. Uber and Bolt services are available for trips to the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
