The winner of the second Eurovision semifinal, as determined by the live audience, has been decided
According to the results of the large-scale Eurovision Audience Poll, Bulgaria’s representative, Dara, emerged as the public’s top favorite.
The singer, performing the song “Bangaranga,” received the most support from viewers immediately after the rehearsals in Vienna.
The Bulgarian artist confidently took first place, garnering 472 votes, which accounts for 16.7% of the total number of respondents. Such a high result at this early stage indicates the country’s serious aspirations to win the contest’s final.
The poll was conducted by a consortium of leading fan publications, including ESC Insight and ESCXTRA.com, outside the Wiener Stadthalle arena.
This survey is considered one of the most accurate indicators of audience sentiment ahead of the official voting.
In addition to Bulgaria, representatives from Australia and Denmark made it into the top three.
Singer Delta Goodrem from Australia and Søren Torpegaard Lund from Denmark demonstrated a high level of preparation, receiving positive feedback from the first visitors to the show.
The Ukrainian band Leleka, with their song “Ridnym,” currently ranks twelfth in the audience poll. The Ukrainians received 83 votes, which accounts for nearly 3% of all fans surveyed for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Representatives from Norway and Cyprus also hold high positions on the list.
Jonas Lovv and Antigoni managed to captivate the audience with their vibrant performances, securing them a stable spot at the top of the viewer popularity chart.
Among the automatic finalists, viewers expressed the greatest support for the host country—Austria.
The country’s representative, Cosmo, with the song “Tanzschein,” received 288 votes, ahead of their counterparts from France and the United Kingdom.
