US says 1 billion barrels of oil transited the Strait of Hormuz — Fortune
US Central Command said that over the past two months, the American military had facilitated the transit of 1 billion barrels of oil through the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM commander Admiral Brad Cooper also said that, because of the US blockade, Iran had not exported a single barrel of oil.

According to Fortune, Cooper said that the main shipping routes in the strait had been cleared of mines. According to him, the volume of oil, natural gas, and other cargo that passed through the waterway over the past two weeks was the largest in six months.
