The NBU updated its exchange rates for July 8: the dollar has fallen again
The National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rates for July 8. The U.S. dollar continued to decline slightly, while the exchange rates of other major currencies also saw minor changes.
On July 7, the official exchange rate for the U.S. dollar stood at 44.56 hryvnia, meaning the price of the U.S. currency remained virtually unchanged compared to July 6. The official exchange rate for the euro was 50.86 hryvnia, meaning its value decreased by 16 kopecks, according to the National Bank.
On July 8, the exchange rates will be as follows:
- dollar – 44.50 hryvnia (-6 kopecks);
- euro – 50.88 hryvnia (+2 kopecks).
The U.S. dollar set its current record high in Ukraine on June 11—44.97 hryvnia according to the National Bank’s exchange rate—while the euro reached its peak on June 16—52.03 hryvnia.

Earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of the morning of Sunday, July 5, 2026.
On Saturday, July 4, exchange rates for major currencies in Ukraine remained stable.
The National Bank announced the exchange rates for July 3.
