Truth Social to launch prediction markets in partnership with Crypto.com

Truth Social, owned by Trump Media and Technology Group, has announced the launch of a new product called Truth Predict. This service will allow users to trade contracts predicting events in politics, economics, and sports through the platform, in collaboration with the Crypto.com exchange. This move makes Truth Social the first social network to offer the opportunity to participate in prediction markets.

Testing of the new product is expected to begin in the near future, after which it will be launched on the US market, with the prospect of going international. Contract trading will be conducted using the Cronos (CRO) cryptocurrency. It is important to note that regulators in the US have already expressed concern about this initiative, as prediction markets are considered gambling, which could create additional challenges for Truth Social and Crypto.com in the future.
