In the US, a beer that acts as a vaccine was created: scientist self-experimented
In the United States, virologist Chris Buck developed a beer that also functions as a vaccine. He engineered brewing yeast to express a polyomavirus protein, and brewed beer from it that purportedly induces immunity. To test the effect, Buck personally consumed 7.5 litres of the beer over 15 days and detected antibodies in his blood.

This unique combination of a beverage and a protective agent has sparked debate among scientists and the public. The lack of formal clinical trials raises concerns about the safety and efficacy of this method.
At present, the experimental results are individual, but this breakthrough encourages further research into unconventional vaccination approaches and the development of more appealing forms of immunisation.
