Cyprus Cement increased half-year profit to €5.4 million — Cyprus Mail
In Cyprus, Cyprus Cement Public Company increased its net profit for the first half of 2026 to €5.4 million. For the six months ended June 30, the figure rose from €4.64 million in the same period of the previous year, Cyprus Mail reports.
Contribution of Vassiliko Cement Works
The main driver of growth was Cyprus Cement’s share of the profit of its associate company, Vassiliko Cement Works. It amounted to €5.9 million, compared with €4.9 million in the first half of 2025.
Basic earnings per share increased to 3.94 cents, compared with 3.38 cents a year earlier. Cyprus Cement’s revenue for the reporting period was €207,000, compared with €193,000 a year earlier.

Results and expectations
The company’s board of directors approved the interim condensed consolidated financial statements for the first half of 2026 on September 28. The meeting scheduled for late August had been announced in advance.
Cyprus Cement is primarily engaged in the development and use of land assets and strategic investments. The company noted that its investment in Vassiliko Cement Works remains a significant source of profit for the group.
The company also warned that the results for the whole of 2026 may change due to market uncertainty. For the full year 2025, Cyprus Cement’s net profit was €5.94 million, while its share of Vassiliko Cement Works’ profit was €8.99 million.
