1,500 companies have joined the White Business Club following an update to the registry

The list of members of the White Business Club has grown to 9,251 taxpayers following a major quarterly review of the data. 

During the latest update, the registry changed by 32%, as 1,490 new companies were added, while 1,216 companies lost their status and were removed from the list

The majority of the list of conscientious taxpayers consists of legal entities, which account for 94% of the total, while individual entrepreneurs make up only 6%. In total, 8,640 companies are officially still in operation; one firm is being liquidated; another is undergoing bankruptcy proceedings; and information regarding 31 companies remains completely undisclosed at this time. In terms of taxation, about half of the businesses operate under the general tax system, while taxpayers in the fourth and third groups use the simplified tax system, and another 476 companies are official residents of the Dія.City legal regime.

The leading sectors of activity among the participants on the updated list are the agricultural sector and the retail and wholesale trade sectors, which together account for more than 40% of all companies listed in the registry.

One in five Club companies is registered in Kyiv—1,892 (22%). Next are Dnipropetrovsk Oblast—800 (9%), Kyiv Oblast—670 (8%), and Lviv Oblast—657 (8%). Excluding frontline regions, the fewest companies are registered in Zakarpattia (169) and Chernivtsi Oblast (129).

By region, entrepreneurs from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast lead the way with 76 sole proprietors (13%), followed closely by the capital with 74 (13%), and another 9% are registered in Lviv Oblast. The regions with the smallest representation—2% each—are Zakarpattia, Rivne, and Kirovohrad.

The most popular sector among sole proprietors is trade and vehicle repair—221 entrepreneurs (38%). This is followed by transportation and logistics (13%) and administrative services (9%).
