Ignite Social Enterprise Limited in Ghana plans to promote Ghanaian shea butter on the international market through its digital platform. Regional consultant Paul Elikem Dovi announced this during the UPSA 1000 & Ghana Entrepreneurship Conference in Accra, MyJoyOnline reports.

Cooperation with manufacturers

According to Dovi, Ignite Social Enterprise intends to cooperate with Ghanaian businesses, primarily companies in the agricultural and manufacturing sectors. Among the products the company plans to prioritize in its promotion efforts, he named shea butter and locally made watches.

The company representative said this strategy is intended to expand Ignite's range of quality products and strengthen the competitiveness of Ghanaian brands on the international market.

Social e-commerce model

Dovi noted that Ignite's mission is to make business ownership more accessible and help micro-entrepreneurs achieve financial independence. According to him, the platform operates under a people-oriented social e-commerce model.

He explained that the platform offers selected products for a healthy lifestyle and everyday use, as well as digital tools, training and an artificial intelligence-based educational platform.

Ignite Social Enterprise was the main sponsor of the five-day conference, which began on Monday, September 14, at the Kofi Ohene-Kondu Auditorium of the University of Professional Studies, Accra. The event brought together young entrepreneurs, business leaders and industry experts; the company urged Ghana's youth to create affordable and sustainable businesses that benefit communities.
