The plan focuses on establishing a system that is well supplied with raw materials, environmentally safe, and technologically advanced. Key measures include boosting scientific and technological innovation, supporting market players and clusters, and expanding tea component applications in related fields such as household products, household chemicals, cosmetics, and healthcare.
In doing so, China not only strengthens its role as the birthplace of tea but also seeks to elevate tea’s economic and cultural significance by diversifying its uses in the future.
