Ukrzaliznytsia will invest over 260 million hryvnias in track upgrades

Ukrzaliznytsia JSC has announced a large-scale tender on the Prozorro platform for the procurement of track equipment with a total value of 260.7 million hryvnias (excluding VAT). The railway company plans to purchase turnouts, dead-end crossings, interlocks, and crossover junctions to modernize and maintain the infrastructure in proper condition.

According to the published tender documentation, the national carrier plans to purchase a total of 104 sets of specialized equipment. All potential bidders have the opportunity to request additional clarifications or challenge the procurement terms until May 29. The deadline for submitting official bids is June 1.

The winner of the open tender is required to deliver the entire batch of railway products within 60 calendar days of receiving the relevant written order from the customer. The new track equipment will be distributed among several strategic regional hubs in Ukraine. Specifically, deliveries are planned for railway facilities and depots in Lviv, Koziatyn, Mukachevo, Piatykhatky, Kharkiv, and Znamianka.
