monobank has changed the fee for all international SWIFT payments
Starting June 10, all international SWIFT payments at monobank are completely free for both individual users and businesses. This change applies to both incoming and outgoing money transfers.
This was announced by the bank’s co-founder, Oleg Gorokhovsky, on Telegram, noting that this move eliminates additional complications for customers when conducting transactions.
Until now, a single SWIFT transfer cost users an average of about 1,000 hryvnias in fees. Previously, the bank earned over 11 million hryvnias a year from these fees, but management assured that they are willing to forgo this revenue for the sake of customer convenience.
