Medvedchuk's oil pipeline will be definitively returned to the state and transferred to Ukrtransnafta
The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) has officially initiated the lifting of all seizures on the Ukrainian section of the “Samara–Western Direction” main petroleum products pipeline, which was previously controlled by associates of pro-Russian politician Viktor Medvedchuk.
This strategic facility includes over 1,400 kilometers of oil and petroleum products pipeline, pumping stations, storage tanks, as well as production complexes and related technological infrastructure. The state’s ownership of this property has already been definitively confirmed by Ukrainian courts, including the Supreme Court.
Given that the asset has already been returned to state ownership and the need for restrictions has disappeared, the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) filed a motion with the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) to lift the seizures imposed in 2021 and 2023. Immediately after the lifting of these encumbrances, the Fund plans to transfer the oil products pipeline to the management of JSC “Ukrtransnafta” to restore its full-scale operation in the interests of the state. It is worth noting that as early as June 2021, Ukrtransnafta received the right to manage this pipeline for a period of five years, which includes the transportation, storage, and transshipment of petroleum products to rail and road transport.
This was reported by the press service of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU).
The yacht of Putin’s godfather, Viktor Medvedchuk, the Royal Romance, is now under Croatian control at a naval base. Due to the expiration of the seizure period, it cannot be sold immediately, and Ukraine continues to work on the asset management procedure.
The ARMA Enforcement Service has identified another yacht belonging to Putin’s godfather, Viktor Medvedchuk, which has already been added to the Interpol database, according to the agency’s acting head, Maksymenko.
