Fuel prices have risen in Ukraine: how much do gasoline, diesel, and autogas cost?
On July 21, Ukraine saw another increase in retail fuel prices at gas stations. This is according to data from the daily monitoring by the “Minfin” portal.
A-92 gasoline saw the largest price increase—the price rose by 1.96 UAH (+2.7%) to an average of 73.42 UAH per liter.
Price trends for other types of fuel were as follows:
— A-95 gasoline rose by 72 kopecks (+0.9%) to 77.29 UAH/liter;
— A-95 Premium gasoline rose by 61 kopecks (+0.8%) to 81.34 UAH/liter;
— Diesel fuel rose in price by 1.36 UAH (+1.7%) to 80.16 UAH per liter.
At the same time, the price of automotive gas remained virtually unchanged—the average price adjusted by only 3 kopecks (+0.07%) and stands at 40.05 UAH per liter.
The main factors driving up prices in the market remain logistical challenges and the consequences of systematic hostile attacks on oil refining and storage infrastructure facilities. However, according to the results of the first half of 2026, imports of automotive gasoline into Ukraine increased by 33% compared to the same period last year, reaching 768,000 metric tons.
This is evidenced by monitoring data from the Ministry of Finance’s portal.
As a reminder, as of July 10, 2026, Ukraine’s largest gas station chains left fuel prices unchanged.
It is worth noting that in the first half of 2026, Ukraine’s vehicle fleet grew by 77,200 gasoline-powered passenger cars. This is 18% more than during the same period last year, indicating growing demand for such vehicles.
