Shein opens order book for Hong Kong IPO worth up to $1.77 billion
Fast-fashion online retailer Shein has begun building an order book for its initial public offering in Hong Kong. The order book opened on Monday, August 24, as part of the company’s planned IPO.
Offering parameters
Shein intends to raise up to HK$13.86 billion, or about $1.77 billion, according to the offering prospectus. The company is selling 280 million shares, with the maximum price per share set at HK$49.50. At this ceiling price, the amount raised could reach HK$13.86 billion.

The IPO parameters were reported by Channel NewsAsia, which published a Reuters report citing the offering prospectus. The report also provided the exchange rate for the dollar equivalent: one U.S. dollar was equal to HK$7.8402.
IPO timeline
Shein plans to set the final IPO price on August 31. Its post-offering debut is scheduled for September 1.
