Seoul and Busan hotels unveil autumn culinary and art offers
Hotels in Seoul and Busan have unveiled seasonal offers featuring drinks, culinary events, an art exhibition and accommodation. As reported by The Korea Herald, Andaz Seoul Gangnam has reduced the prices of cocktails, wine and beer to 7,000 won per glass until Sunday to mark its seventh anniversary.
The promotion runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Bites & Wine on the hotel’s second floor. Snacks there are also available for 7,000 won instead of the regular 12,000 won. Arts Cafe on the first floor is offering coffee and cafe lattes for 7,000 won during these three days. Throughout September, the Jogakbo Kitchen and Meat & Co. Steak House restaurants are offering a 20% discount on lunches and dinners for guests who book tables online.
Surfing exhibition in Busan
Grand Josun Busan has tied its Ride the Wave package to the “Searching2” exhibition, which will run until September 30 at the OKNP Busan gallery on the hotel’s fourth floor. The project features 11 artists from Korea, the United States and Japan, united by the theme of surfing.
Guests who choose this package will receive access to the exhibition and a tote bag featuring work by Japanese artist Yusuke Hanai. It can be collected at the gallery upon presentation of a voucher issued during check-in. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is closed every Monday and during the Chuseok holiday period. The package for a Superior room starts at 308,000 won; bookings are accepted until September 26, and stays are available until September 30.

Desserts and cocktails in Seoul
Until October 31, Westin Seoul Parnas is holding the Le Grand Salon afternoon tea featuring pastry chef Yusuke Aoki. The set, designed for two and priced at 120,000 won, includes a pear tart, matcha and citrus opera cakes, a fig and cinnamon cake, hojicha mousse, as well as savory snacks, including a brioche with saffron and snow crab. Aoki will also host a dessert station at On:Table from September 9 to 11.
Until October 31, Grand Hyatt Seoul is serving three cocktails in its Gallery lounge inspired by the scents of Angels’ Share by French brand Kilian Paris. One of them is made with Hennessy VSOP, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, Angostura bitters and walnut; the menu also includes a non-alcoholic version with tonka bean syrup, orange juice and sparkling water.
In addition, the Pastry Salon at Signiel Seoul has begun selling Alleno & Rivoire chocolate created by chef Yannick Alleno and pastry chef Aurélien Rivoire. Praline chocolate bars cost 60,000 won for six pieces or 110,000 won for 12.
