Fedorov May Be Preparing to Run in the Presidential Election — The Times

Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov may run in the upcoming presidential election. The Times reported this, citing sources close to him and within the “Servant of the People” party.

According to the publication, following Fedorov’s resignation, there have been calls for him to form a new political party focused primarily on fighting corruption. Fedorov himself declined to comment.

The Times also reports that Fedorov has received job offers, including one from Alex Karp, the CEO of the American company Palantir, but has reportedly decided to remain in Ukraine.

According to the newspaper’s sources, the scandal surrounding his dismissal has raised Fedorov’s political profile, and some lawmakers are already discussing preparations for the upcoming elections.
