Discussions on support for Ukraine concluded at the G7 summit
The working session titled “Building Peace and Security for Ukraine and for Europe,” dedicated to issues of support for Ukraine and security on the continent, concluded at the G7 summit in Evian, France.
The meeting was attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, U.S. President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, and leaders of other countries.
During the session, Zelenskyy and Trump sat next to Macron on either side of the French leader.
The Élysée Palace reported that no official statements are planned following the meeting. They also did not confirm that separate talks took place between Zelenskyy and Trump after the session concluded.

At the same time, the U.S. president told reporters that he had a “very good” meeting with Zelenskyy that morning and plans to continue his discussions with the Ukrainian leader throughout the day.
After the conclusion of the Ukrainian session, French President Emmanuel Macron began talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed, who had arrived at the summit.
