41-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo married Georgina Rodríguez
Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo and his 32-year-old fiancée, influencer Georgina Rodríguez, are now officially married. This is the first marriage for the 41-year-old Ronaldo.
The newlyweds announced the news on Instagram by posting a simple photo of their intertwined hands wearing wedding rings. Ronaldo captioned the photo with his and his new wife’s initials and added a heart between them.
A press release obtained by People magazine states that the civil ceremony took place in the Portuguese city of Cascais.
“The ceremony was a private and intimate moment that took place in the presence of their five children,” representatives for the couple said.
As a reminder, Elina Svitolina advanced to the third round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto. In a tough match, the Ukrainian defeated Spain’s Jessica Buzas Maneiro 6-7, 7-6, 6-4. The match lasted nearly three hours, and Svitolina clinched the victory after three tense sets.
Earlier, Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina advanced to the quarterfinals of the WTA 500 tournament in Washington. In the round of 16, she defeated Polina Kudermetova, who previously represented Russia and now plays for Uzbekistan. Following this victory, the Ukrainian continues her quest for the title on American courts.
