Berekum Chelsea claim first win of the season by beating Dreams
In Ghana, Berekum Chelsea defeated Dreams 3:1 in a 2026/27 season match at Golden City Park. It was the team's first victory after losing to Hearts of Oak in the opening round, MyJoyOnline reports.
Two goals before the break
The hosts opened the scoring as early as the third minute, with Abubakari Seidu finding the net. In the 16th minute, Jonah Attuquaye doubled Berekum Chelsea's advantage.
Dreams were unable to respond before the break. Berekum Chelsea maintained their two-goal lead until the end of the first half.

The visitors' goal and the hosts' third
In the second half, Dreams became more active and reduced the deficit in the 75th minute thanks to a goal by Abdul Razak Salifu. The visitors tried to equalize, but the hosts held on to their advantage.
In stoppage time, Marvin Owusu scored Berekum Chelsea's third goal to set the final score at 3:1. Next weekend, coach Kwaku Danso's team will play against Port City, while Dreams will host Bibiani Gold Stars.
