Yamal scores brace in Barcelona’s win over Levante
Barcelona defeated Levante 4:2 in a La Liga match in Valencia, Spain, and maintained a perfect record at the start of the season. Lamine Yamal scored twice, while Hansi Flick’s team moved three points ahead of Real Madrid after its fifth consecutive league victory.
Yamal’s two goals
According to the BBC, as published by MyJoyOnline, Xavi Espart opened the scoring in the fifth minute. Yamal then scored after a pass from Raphinha and, three minutes after the start of the second half, converted a penalty to score the Catalans’ third goal.
After that, Barcelona lost concentration, which the hosts took advantage of. Ivan Romero, who came on as a substitute, reduced the deficit 11 minutes before the end of regular time, capitalizing on Espart’s defensive mistake.
