Where to watch the third-place match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup between France and England
On the night of July 19, Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens will host the third-place match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The bronze medal match will feature the national teams of France and England—teams that were considered among the top contenders to reach the final before the tournament began.
Both teams suffered a devastating setback just one step away from their dreams. The French, led by Kylian Mbappé, were unable to break through Spain’s intense pressure (0–2), while the English managed to let a victory over Argentina slip away in the final minutes (1–2).
Although the bronze medal match is often called a game that no one wants to play in, the rivals are certainly not lacking in motivation.
For France, this is a historic moment and the end of the Didier Deschamps era. The head coach is stepping down after the tournament and has a chance to complete the set of medals from the last three World Cups (following “gold” in 2018 and “silver” in 2022).
For England, under the leadership of Thomas Tuchel, this is an opportunity to break an unfortunate tradition. The “Three Lions” have played in the third-place match at the World Cup twice in history and lost both times (in 1990 and 2018).
A live broadcast of the match in Ukraine will be available on the Megogo media service (Megogo Football 1 channel). Pre-match coverage will begin at 11:20 p.m., and Venezuelan referee Jesús Valenzuela will blow the opening whistle at exactly 12:00 a.m. Kyiv time.
Vadym Skichko and Vadym Shevyakin will provide commentary on the consolation final.
