Spain’s national team captain Lamine Yamal said he believes his team will win the 2026 World Cup.
“Whenever a tournament starts, I think I’m going to win it. That’s exactly what’s on my mind right now. I think I’m going to win the World Cup,” the soccer player said.
Spain advanced to the knockout stage as the group winner, and Yamal has already scored his first World Cup goal. In the Round of 16, Spain will face Austria.
