The Rock Climbing Federation has allowed Russians who have traveled to Crimea to compete as "neutral" athletes

The International Federation of Sport Climbing (World Climbing) has granted "neutral" status to Russian athletes Dmitry Fakiryanov, Vladislav Shevchenko, and Viktoria Meshkova, who had previously visited occupied Crimea.

According to reports, they participated in the “Crimean Rocks 2022” tournament, which took place in the Bakhchysarai district of the peninsula.

It is reported that the athletes entered Crimea without passing through Ukrainian customs and border control, thereby violating Ukrainian law.

As a reminder, Elina Svitolina advanced to the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000.

Also, Novak Djokovic lost to Jack Draper in the round of 16 at Indian Wells.
