Inter rally from 0:2 to beat Udinese, Roma also have 12 points
In Italy, in Milan, Inter came back from two goals down to defeat Udinese 5:3 in a Serie A match. The reigning Italian champions earned their fourth win in four rounds and drew level on points with Roma, who beat Torino 2:0. Dawn reports.
Inter’s comeback
Udinese took the lead in the ninth minute when James Abankwah headed the ball into the net unmarked. Seven minutes later, Jurgen Ekkelenkamp doubled the visitors’ advantage with a close-range finish.
Inter reduced the deficit through a long-range strike by Carlos Augusto, while Nicolo Barella equalized 10 minutes before halftime. In the 59th minute, Marcus Thuram scored from the edge of the penalty area after a pass from Andy Diouf from the byline to put the Milan club ahead.
Francesco Esposito scored Inter’s fourth goal, and Ange-Yoan Bonny made it 5:2 with 11 minutes remaining in regular time. In stoppage time, Idrissa Gueye pulled one goal back for Udinese.

Roma retain top spot
Roma beat Torino 2:0 in Turin and also reached 12 points after four matches. Donyell Malen opened the scoring five minutes before halftime after an error by goalkeeper Lucas Perri: Paulo Dybala intercepted his inaccurate pass. Niccolo Pisilli sealed the final score in stoppage time.
Roma head coach Gian Piero Gasperini praised the partnership between Malen and Dybala, telling DAZN Italia that the players complement each other and combine well in creating goals.
Clash of leaders and Como’s win
Roma and Inter will play each other at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday. Como are third in the table with 10 points after a 2:1 home win over Parma. Jacobo Ramon and Kaiki Bruno scored for Cesc Fabregas’ team.
