Klu, who won the girls' singles event in the opening week of the tournament, said she was disappointed that she could not complete the final. According to her, the decision to take her condition into account was necessary to avoid aggravating the injury. She also expressed hope of recovering for the next stages of the tour.

Winners in other events

Aina also won the girls' doubles event alongside Israel's Shira Dvir. Klu and her partner from Togo, Gakpo, withdrew before the final because Klu was deemed unfit to compete.

In the boys' singles event, China's Zhuoyu Hua defeated American David Beckles. Spaniards Juan Montes Jimenez and Raul Sanchez Romero won the boys' doubles event, defeating the British-Ghanaian pair of Denzell Darki and Jeff Frimpong.
