Former world No. 2, Czech tennis player Petra Kvitová, has become the mother of twins.
The athlete gave birth to two girls on March 30 at a hospital in Prague. The babies were named Emma and Ella, and they and their mother are doing well.
This is Kvitova’s second pregnancy—together with her husband, tennis player and coach Jiří Vaněk, she is also raising a son who was born in 2024.
Petra Kvitova retired from professional tennis in 2025. During her career, she won Wimbledon twice, triumphed at the WTA Finals, and earned a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics.
In total, she has 31 WTA singles titles to her credit.
