Coutinho joins Neymar at Santos in Brazil
In Brazil, midfielder Philippe Coutinho has joined his friend and national team teammate Neymar at Santos until the end of the season. This was reported by MyJoyOnline, citing the BBC.
After leaving Vasco da Gama
The 34-year-old Coutinho had been without a club since February, when he left Vasco da Gama. He returned to the club where he began playing football in 2024, but departed after 81 matches, explaining that he was mentally exhausted.
Santos announced the transfer on social media. The club published an archive photo of Coutinho and Neymar as teenagers, as well as a new image in which the footballers recreated the same pose in a gym.
