Latvia to play Germany at the Women’s European Volleyball Championship

Latvia’s women’s national team last competed at the European Championship 29 years ago. Before the game against Germany, Latvia lost to Türkiye on Friday. LSM English calls the Turkish national team one of the tournament’s favorites.

Upcoming schedule
The day after the match against Germany, Latvia’s national team is due to play Poland. The Latvian team’s final two group-stage matches are scheduled for August 26 against Slovenia and August 27 against Hungary.
Six national teams compete in Group A. The four strongest teams in the group will advance to the knockout tournament. Thus, Latvia will play three more group-stage matches after the meeting with Germany.
