Legendary Lyon striker Fleurie Di Nallo has died

Floris Di Nallo, the all-time leading scorer in the history of the French soccer club Olympique Lyonnais, has died at the age of 83. He played for the team from 1960 to 1974 and left a lasting mark on the club’s history.

This was reported by the club’s press service.

 

Throughout his career, Di Nallo, who played as a forward, competed in the French league. From 1960 to 1974, he played for Lyon, becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer. He scored 222 goals in 494 matches across various competitions.

Together with the team, he won the French Cup three times (1964, 1967, 1973) and the French Super Cup once (1973).

For the French national team, Di Nallo played 10 matches, scoring 8 goals.
