Shakhtar has appointed a new coach
Donetsk’s “Shakhtar” has announced the appointment of Turkish specialist Murat Ozkütükçü to the coaching staff led by head coach Arda Turan.
Özkütükçü will be responsible for the team’s tactical preparation, participate in training sessions, and assist the analytics department. He has signed a contract through the end of the 2026–27 season.
The new assistant noted that he was impressed by Shakhtar’s level of play and stated that his main goal is to help the team maintain its success and win new trophies. Prior to joining the Ukrainian club, he worked at the Turkish club Konyaspor and was also part of the coaching staffs at Istanbul Başakşehir, Kayserispor, and Alanyaspor.
