Sinner made tennis history after winning all the Masters tournaments

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner has set a new historic record in men’s tennis. The Italian has become the youngest player to win titles at all nine tournaments in the ATP 1000 series, cementing his status as the dominant player of the season.

This was reported by Opta Ace.

On Sunday, Sinner won the Masters in Rome, defeating Norwegian tennis player Casper Ruud (6-4, 6-4). Previously, he triumphed at the Canadian Open, Miami Open, Cincinnati Open, Shanghai Masters, Paris Masters, Indian Wells Open, Monte-Carlo Masters, and Madrid Open. Until now, only Serbian Novak Djokovic had achieved this feat.

However, the Italian tennis player has significantly improved upon the legendary Balkan player’s record. Djokovic won his last “1,000-point” title at age 31. Sinner, on the other hand, is only 24.

The world No. 1 has set a number of other records as well. In particular, he became the first Italian in over half a century to win the tournament in Rome. Sinner also secured 33 consecutive wins at Masters tournaments, breaking his own record.
