Trubin wants to leave Benfica because he is unhappy with his role on the team
Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin is considering leaving Benfica as early as this summer due to dissatisfaction with his situation at the club.
According to Record, the goalkeeper feels increasingly sidelined from the team’s plans. One of the reasons was the coaching staff’s decision to keep him on the bench for the first match of the third qualifying round of the Europa League against Scotland’s Hearts, which Benfica won 6–1.
It is reported that the 23-year-old Ukrainian would like to change clubs during the current transfer window. A number of European giants are said to be interested in the goalkeeper, including Real Madrid, PSG, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Juventus.
At the same time, Benfica has no plans to let the player go for less than 20 million euros.
Trubin joined the Portuguese club from Donetsk’s Shakhtar in 2023.
