In France, Paris and Olympique Lyon drew 0:0 in a fourth-round Ligue 1 match. Both clubs missed the chance to move level on points with the championship leaders and have eight points each after four games.
A missed chance in Paris
The closest to scoring was the hosts' winger Luca Koleosho: in the 50th minute, his shot went just centimetres wide of the goal. New Italy national team coach Roberto Mancini was present at the match and watched Koleosho. The player made his first appearances for the national team in June.
Monaco and Rennes have 10 points each. The Monegasques moved top of the table after a 1:1 draw with Strasbourg and are ahead of Rennes on goal difference. Rennes beat Olympique Marseille 1:0 on Friday.

Strasbourg took the lead against Monaco early in the second half after an own goal by Sadibou Sané, who deflected the ball into his own net following a free kick by Spanish defender Oso. Paris Brunner equalised in the 71st minute with a long-range strike.

Auxerre earned their first points of the season by beating Nice 1:0 thanks to a goal from Cameron Archer in the 74th minute. Nice, who narrowly avoided relegation last season, dropped to last place.
Toulouse came back from 0:2 in an away match against Lorient. Ibrahima Baldé opened the scoring in the 37th minute, and Noah Mbamba doubled the hosts' lead two minutes later. After the break, Kasper Tengstedt reduced the deficit, while Thomas Jorgensen made the final score 2:2 in the 68th minute. Le Havre and Angers also finished their match goalless.
