Ukrainian poker player Novak is collaborating with a Russian who supports the war

The decorated Ukrainian poker player Andriy Novak, known by the pseudonym STiger, is collaborating with Russian poker player Artem Vezhenkov. Both are co-founders of the SV School poker academy, which has sparked public controversy due to the Russian partner’s stance on the war.

Vezhenkov and Novak are co-founders and coaches at the SV School poker academy. The school’s website and social media pages are maintained exclusively in Russian.

SV School also has a profile on the Russian social network VKontakte, which is subject to sanctions.

It is worth noting that Vezhenkov and Novak host joint livestreams.

During his streams, Vezhenkov voices Russian propaganda talking points in support of the war against Ukraine.

In particular, he claimed that books are allegedly being “burned” in Ukraine. Vezhenkov also believes that Russia’s reason for starting the war was that Ukraine had “included NATO and the EU in its Constitution.”

This was reported by “Glavkom.”
