In Australia, Sydney Swans to face Brisbane Lions without five key players
In Australia, the Sydney Swans will play an Australian Football League (AFL) qualifying final against the Brisbane Lions without five key players. The match will take place at the SCG stadium in Sydney. The winner will earn the right to host a preliminary final.
Five players out of the lineup
As ABC News reports, Sydney has stood down Isaac Heeney, Chad Warner, Nick Blakey, James Jordon and Riley Bice for the rest of the season. According to the outlet, the club imposed sanctions over breaches of team rules on the night and morning after the match against Essendon in Round 23.
There has been one change to Sydney's lineup: Hayden McLean has come into the team, while William Green was not included in the lineup. McLean is expected to help Brodie Grundy in the ruck position.
