Beres Owusu named player of the match in Austrian championship
France-born defender of Ghanaian descent Beres Owusu was named player of the match in which Austrian side Grazer AK drew 0-0 with Wolfsberger in the Austrian Bundesliga. The 22-year-old central defender helped his team keep a clean sheet in a tense encounter.

As MyJoyOnline reports, Owusu made nine defensive actions during the match. He won three of four tackles, made two clearances and recovered possession for his team seven times.

The defender also won five of seven ground duels and one of two aerial duels. According to the outlet, opponents did not beat him on the dribble even once. Owusu's performance helped Grazer AK contain Wolfsberger and earn one point.
