Video: Maldera Addresses Fans in Ukrainian Following His Call-Up to the National Team
Andrea Maldera, the new head coach of the Ukrainian national team, recorded a video message for Ukrainian fans following his official appointment to the position. The Italian coach addressed the fans in Ukrainian, immediately capturing the attention and goodwill of the soccer community.

In his message, the coach thanked everyone for their support and emphasized that it is a great honor for him to work with the Ukrainian national team.
On Monday, the association’s executive committee approved the Italian’s candidacy for the role of the new head coach of the “blue-and-yellows.” He signed a two-year contract. The parties also provided for the possibility of extending the collaboration.
“Good afternoon! I am very happy to be here. It is an honor for me to lead the national team. I will do everything for Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!” – Maldini reacted to his appointment.
In his new role, Malder will make his debut on May 31 in a friendly match against Poland. The Ukrainian national team will play two summer friendlies. In particular, a friendly match against the Danish national team is scheduled for June 7.
