Anthropic aims to raise $10 billion with a $350 billion valuation
Anthropic, the developer of the AI chatbot Claude, plans to raise $10 billion in funding, valuing the company at $350 billion. This valuation nearly doubles the figure from last autumn and reflects growing investor interest in artificial intelligence.
The funding round will be led by Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC and Coatue fund. The rapid valuation increase highlights expectations that AI market leaders will dominate the next technological era.
Anthropic aims to break even by 2028 and is preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) later this year.
