Apple will hold its next device presentation on September 9 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). As The Verge reports, the company is preparing to unveil several new gadgets.
Possible foldable iPhone
One of the event's possible main announcements could be a foldable iPhone, which has long been rumored. The publication notes that a photograph of the device's mockup points to a wide form factor similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8.
Apple has not officially disclosed the list of devices it will show during the September presentation. Information about the foldable smartphone is based on reports and assumptions cited by The Verge.

Updates to Pro models
Updates to the iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max are also expected at the event. According to the publication, these devices may receive gradual changes instead of the major redesign Apple introduced last year. If the company retains its previous naming principle, the models may be called the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
At the same time, Apple may reportedly not unveil the base iPhone 18 in September and postpone its announcement until next year. The company is also said to be planning to release the iPhone 18e and the second-generation iPhone Air in 2027.
According to The Verge, the September 9 presentation will be Apple's first under John Ternus. He previously headed the company's hardware division and is set to replace Tim Cook as chief executive officer on September 1.
