ChatGPT will be able to mimic the user's writing style
OpenAI is testing a new "Writing Style" feature for ChatGPT that will train the AI to replicate an individual's writing style. To do this, the service will be able to analyze text from connected apps.
The new feature is currently available to a small group of users. During setup, ChatGPT indicates that it will be able to write in a person’s “voice” using examples from connected apps.
Users are asked to provide examples from three categories: messages, documents, and emails. OpenAI suggests using Slack, Google Drive, Notion, and Gmail for this purpose.
Once configured, ChatGPT will be able to take into account how a person typically writes in these services when generating new texts. This will eliminate the need to specify the desired tone each time or to paste previous texts into the chat as examples.
For example, the chatbot will be able to use the style of emails, messages, or longer documents separately, if they are available through connected services.
This OpenAI feature is similar to Anthropic’s “Styles.” It allows users to upload or paste examples of their own texts, after which the AI creates a personalized response style.
At the same time, OpenAI’s experiment stands out because it can access texts already stored in connected services. This will potentially provide ChatGPT with significantly more real-world examples to analyze.
OpenAI has confirmed that it is testing Writing Style, but it is not yet known when the feature will become available to a wider audience.

The ChatGPT desktop app for macOS now includes the "Computer History" feature, which uses user actions as training data to build a timeline that ChatGPT and Codex can reference during queries. The tool is designed to learn how the user works, suggest automations, and help resume unfinished tasks, according to The Verge.
