How YC-backed Bucket Robotics survived its first CES in Las Vegas
In 2020, the young San Francisco-based startup Bucket Robotics took part in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas for the first time. Faced with bad weather, CEO and founder Matt Puchalski rented a Hyundai Santa Fe to personally transport their equipment, avoiding the risk of flight delays and ensuring all necessary materials reached the conference safely.
Despite a modest booth in the immersive vehicles section, Bucket Robotics’ efforts stood out among hundreds of exhibiting companies showcasing innovations. Puchalski highlighted that their success was based on tirelessness, attentiveness, and readiness to pitch their product constantly.
A successful CES debut opens new opportunities for the startup to establish itself in the market and attract investments for further growth.
