Reflect Festival and Plug and Play become partners in Cyprus — Cyprus Mail
Reflect Festival and the international innovation platform Plug and Play have announced a strategic partnership in Cyprus. The cooperation is intended to strengthen ties between the Cypriot and regional startup ecosystems and global investors, corporations and markets. Cyprus Mail reports.
An international network for startups
As part of the partnership, Plug and Play is set to bring its international network, startup experience, corporate connections and innovation capabilities closer to the Reflect ecosystem. The organizations plan to create opportunities for international cooperation, investment and business development, as well as increase the visibility of promising companies from Cyprus and the region among global investors, corporations and in international markets.
Stylianos Lambrou, co-founder of The Doers Company, which is behind Reflect Festival, said the partnership could become a bridge between the local and regional ecosystem and global opportunities. According to him, the organizers’ ambition is to help Cyprus become one of the region’s most connected places for building companies, investing, creating and living.

Festival development in Limassol
Reflect Festival is based in Limassol and focuses on technology, entrepreneurship, innovation and the people shaping future development. The event grew from a gathering of about 300 participants into a festival that brings together more than 10,000 entrepreneurs, investors, company executives, officials, creators and technology leaders. The festival connects participants from ecosystems in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Plug and Play operates in more than 60 locations worldwide and connects startups with corporations, investors, universities and governments. Its network includes more than 100,000 startups and over 550 corporate partners. Plug and Play Director Filippos Kyprianou said the platform seeks to attract international startup founders, corporations and investors to the island, while helping Cypriot companies enter global markets.
As part of the partnership, Plug and Play will actively participate in Reflect Festival through its own startup program. The organizations also intend to promote greater international participation in the festival and cooperation between the public and private sectors.
