Samsung has identified the most popular AI features among Ukrainians in 2026

By 2026, the availability of artificial intelligence had become one of the key factors in choosing a new smartphone, and users began actively incorporating AI tools into their daily lives. 

Samsung Electronics Ukraine shared this information with LIGA.net.

According to the manufacturer, two features became the most popular among Ukrainian smartphone owners: Circle to Search (on-screen search by circling an object) and Photo Assist (smart photo editing). Ukrainians most often use integrated AI for instant information search, photo editing, generating various content, and boosting personal productivity.

At the same time, Samsung has noted a clear increase in user interest in privacy and personal data protection. As a result, gadget owners are increasingly paying attention to new security technologies, particularly the Privacy Display feature, which debuted this year in the South Korean brand’s smartphones.

The company also noted a general trend toward more pragmatic and informed choices when selecting mobile devices. When choosing a smartphone, modern buyers evaluate not only dry technical specifications such as processor power or camera parameters, but also the duration of official support for the device through updates, its AI potential, and the level of the gadget’s integration within the manufacturer’s ecosystem.

OpenAI will grant the Japanese government and select companies access to an AI model with advanced capabilities in the field of cybersecurity.

As a reminder, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that the development of AI will not lead to mass unemployment but, on the contrary, will contribute to the creation of new jobs.
