The "Your AI Slop Bores Me" service lets people take on the role of a chatbot

The online service "Your AI Slop Bores Me" lets users simulate a conversation with a chatbot: the questions and answers are created by people. This was reported by The Verge. The platform has two tabs—“Human” and “LARP as an AI”: in one, the user submits a query, and in the other, the user takes on the role of an AI and crafts a response.

Requests can involve text or images. The person playing the role of the AI has 150 seconds to respond. To create images, the service offers a simple tool similar to MS Paint, so fulfilling complex or highly specialized requests is limited by time and the editor’s capabilities.

Your AI Slop Bores Me uses a credit system similar to tokens in large language models. Sending a query requires credits, which can be earned by answering other users’ queries as the AI. The platform also provides one free query every two minutes. Users can skip requests that don’t interest them.

The service also has a Discord server and a Hall of Fame—a collection of user-generated works. Among other things, it features an interpretation of the painting “Starry Night.”
