Agility Robotics unveils humanoid robot Digit 5 in the United States
American company Agility Robotics has unveiled the humanoid robot Digit 5, which, according to the developer, will be able to work safely alongside people in manufacturing. The company is based in Salem, Oregon.
Digit 5 specifications
According to MarketWatch, Digit 5 is 5 feet 11 inches tall, or about 180 centimeters, and weighs 284 pounds, or approximately 129 kilograms. The robot can reach a height of up to 7.2 feet, or about 2.2 meters, and can also move products using grippers on its hands.

Update to the previous model
Agility Robotics said the new model is an improvement on the previous version of Digit, which has already been used by Amazon and other customers. According to the company, Digit 5 can lift more weight and has an improved battery.
Agility Robotics called the robot's ability to work cooperatively alongside people an important achievement for commercial scaling. MarketWatch also notes that the company may go public later this year.
