Ukraine starts building AI infrastructure together with NVIDIA

Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced a partnership with NVIDIA to develop an artificial intelligence infrastructure. Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized that this step is important for national security and data protection. The first joint achievement of the partnership will be the creation of Diia AI LLM, a sovereign language model based on Ukrainian data.

The Diia AI model will be used to develop all AI solutions in the Ukrainian ecosystem Diia, including government services and voice assistants. In addition, the AI Factory project will be deployed to ensure the creation of a national infrastructure for artificial intelligence, which will improve citizens' access to services.

The use of NVIDIA technologies will allow Ukraine to optimize development costs, accelerate model training, and improve the quality of AI solutions. The next steps include the implementation of new projects in the field of education and talent development in the IT sector, which will create the potential for further growth and innovation.
