The 128th Brigade denied claims of a lack of food supplies at the front lines
The 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade in Zakarpattia stated that units on the front lines regularly receive food, ammunition, and essential supplies.
This is stated in a post on the unit’s official Facebook page, according to Ukrinform. The command denied social media reports of an alleged prolonged lack of provisions at one of the combat positions.
According to the brigade, logistics are delivered to the specified area using heavy drones. Specifically, drone deliveries took place on April 22, 23, 25, and twice on April 27, 2026, as confirmed by video recordings of the shipments and statements from the soldiers themselves regarding the receipt of the packages. In addition to food, the positions are equipped with uninterrupted internet access, electricity, and constant communication for coordinating actions against Russia.
The unit acknowledged that due to the complex situation and a shortage of personnel, rotations can sometimes be difficult, and prolonged stays at the positions are a harsh reality of war. The command urged people not to spread unverified information that could be used by the enemy for disinformation. Work is currently underway on a planned rotation of personnel on the front lines.
Prior to this, on social media, the daughter of a soldier from the 128th OGShBr shared that her father, who serves in the brigade’s anti-tank missile unit, has been stationed at the front lines with his unit since late last year under extremely difficult conditions. For quite some time now, they have reportedly been without food due to constant disruptions in the delivery of necessary supplies.
Information has also appeared on social media regarding an allegedly critical situation with the supply of soldiers from the 14th Brigade’s 2nd Mechanized Battalion, who are stationed at their positions without sufficient food and water.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made personnel decisions regarding the command of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade following media coverage of the critical situation regarding the supply of troops in the Kupiansk direction.
