The court ordered the confiscation of former MP Tsarev's assets for the state
The High Anti-Corruption Court granted the Ministry of Justice’s claim and ordered the assets of former Ukrainian MP Oleg Tsarev to be forfeited to the state.
This was reported by the High Anti-Corruption Court.
The court imposed a sanction on the former MP as provided for by the Law “On Sanctions.” As part of the ruling, a trailer and a number of assets in the Dnipropetrovsk region were transferred to state ownership.
Specifically, this includes 21 land plots, buildings and structures, as well as corporate rights.
The decision will take legal effect after the appeal period expires.
The Ministry of Justice noted that it had filed the relevant lawsuit with the court in February. Tsarev is a former People’s Deputy from the Party of Regions who, in 2014, was linked to the activities of the pseudo-state “Novorossiya,” created by the Russian Federation in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree revoking Ukrainian citizenship for Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, former MP Oleg Tsarev, and ballet dancer Serhiy Polunin.
Russian propagandists showed former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev, who is suspected of treason. Recently, an assassination attempt was made on the collaborator in the temporarily occupied Crimea; he survived.
