Lieutenant Colonel Yevgen Kochervey was appointed commander of the 30th Brigade
Prior to his new appointment, the officer served in a number of challenging combat zones and participated in both defensive and offensive operations.
Specifically, this includes battles in the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, the defense of Bakhmut and Klishchiivka, as well as operations in the Kursk and Belgorod regions of the Russian Federation.
The brigade notes that the soldiers know Yevhen Kochervey well as a commander who works directly alongside his units.
“He always works alongside his units, makes critical decisions, and cares for his personnel,” emphasized the 30th Mechanized Brigade.
The new commander is a full recipient of the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky.
He has also been awarded a number of state and departmental honors for his bravery and successful completion of combat missions.
